Subway Superhero

Chad Lindsey was waiting for a New York subway train when he noticed a man who teetered on the edge of the platform before falling down to the tracks below. Without thinking about it, he jumped down to help. The man would not wake up, so he grabbed him and hoisted him onto the platform; others helped pull the man up. He managed to jump up himself before the train came. Soon afterwards, Lindsey boarded his own train and left, his anonymity intact. It wasn't until a friend notified the New York Times that his identity became known.
